Justin Z Hellickson is a hybrid trailer composer. His compositions are an epic fusion of modern and classical elements. He creates cutting edge compositions for exclusive music libraries, film makers, and content creators. Justin studied classical guitar under virtuoso Lee Byung Woo. He also studied computer music at The Peabody Conservatory while as a Digital Master’s student at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Justin’s first major film placement (under his solo act name Judgehydrogen) was in the Scott Derrickson/Ethan Hawke film ‘Sinister.' His composition “A Body of Water” was used in the film and also for the trailers.

WORK

Justin's (as Judgehydrogen) composition "A Body of Water" appeared in the Ethan Hawke film 'Sinister.' The track was also used extensively in the Red Band Trailers.
